Pregnancy is a simple word, isn't it? This happens naturally when a couple is ready to start their own family. However, pregnancy requires time, energy, patience for women, and even after that a woman can have different types of pregnancies. Yes, there is more than one type of pregnancy.
There are many reasons for certain types of pregnancy, such as some deficiency in the reproductive system, the release of too many eggs at one time or the fertilization of too many sperm in one egg, health problems, etc.

Different types of pregnancy in women
1. Intrauterine pregnancy
This is a normal pregnancy in which the fetus is implanted in a vital cavity inside the uterus and an umbilical cord is made to help the fetus become a baby.
2. Pregnancy
A molar pregnancy is one in which the placenta and fetus develop abnormally and placental tissue tumors develop. There are two types of pregnancy - the first complete and the second partial. A full molar pregnancy occurs when the umbilical cord forms abnormally but does not contain embryos. A partial molar pregnancy occurs when both the placenta and the fetus form abnormally. A molar pregnancy occurs when an egg is fertilized with extra chromosomes. It can cause miscarriage or the doctor may recommend abortion because it is not safe and healthy for the baby.
3. Ectopic or tubal pregnancy
An ectopic pregnancy occurs when a fertilized egg is inserted outside a cavity in the uterus, such as the cervix or abdomen. In many cases, the embryo implants itself in the fallopian tube (which carries the egg to the uterus), causing tubal pregnancy. Ectopic pregnancy is not safe for both the mother and the baby because the baby does not develop properly which can harm the mother as well. If there is no natural abortion, doctors recommend abortion.
4. Pregnancy inside the abdomen
Intra-abdominal pregnancy occurs when a fetal implant is placed outside the uterus in the abdominal cavity. Most embryo implants are placed inside the uterus or in the first fallopian tube, but they can slip due to rupture or damage. For example, after a C-section, the incision ruptures and becomes weak, causing the baby to slip into the abdominal cavity. Pregnancy is not detected in the womb and remains during pregnancy, but there is no chance of the baby surviving. This requires a complete hysterectomy or surgery after birth.
5. Single pregnancy
Single pregnancy occurs when a sperm fertilizes an egg in a woman's uterus and gives birth to a single child.
6. Multiple or multiple pregnancies
Multiple pregnancies occur when a woman has two or more fetuses in her womb, such as twins. If an egg fertilized by a single sperm divides into two embryos, then there are identical twins with the same genetics. If two eggs are fertilized with two different sperm, then there are fraternal (non-identical) twins and their genetics are not identical. Fertility treatment can result in two or more fetuses.
7. High-risk pregnancy
If a woman is over 35 years of age, her pregnancy can have many complications, that is why it is also called high-risk pregnancy. If a woman is older and has diabetes, has more than one child in her womb, or has health problems, these problems can affect her baby and her entire pregnancy. In many cases, there can be risks in pregnancy even if medication is needed to reduce the problems. Even if there have been complications in childbirth in the past, there can be many risks in pregnancy.
8. Lupus pregnancy
There are many risks to lupus pregnancy. Lupus is an autoimmune disease that can lead to pregnancy complications and increase a woman's risk of pre-lymphadenopathy. If a woman has a problem with lupus, she should plan her pregnancy so that she does not have any sudden complications.
9. Chemical pregnancy
This is just a medical term for termination of pregnancy after implantation. After fertilizing the egg, it is implanted in the uterus but it does not grow and develop. This pregnancy often ends before the baby's heartbeat is heard on ultrasound.
10. Breach pregnancy
Abortion occurs when the baby's head is up in the uterus and the legs or lower part of the uterus is down towards the cervix and the birth canal. For a normal birth, the baby's head often turns toward the birth canal. There are three types of breech pregnancies depending on the position of the baby - the first complete, the second frank, and the third incomplete (footling breech). Breast pregnancy can be caused by having more than one baby in the womb, abnormal shape of the uterus, placenta previa, too much or too little amniotic fluid, which affects the movement of the baby, etc
