There are different forms of abuse. One form is related to the misuse of something or someone, even the abuser is exceeding the limits and therefore taking more than them. The second thing is that when one party regularly oppresses the other party and even commits violence.

Abuse | Mental Health

This type of abuse can manifest in the mental, physical and emotional spheres. In general terms, abuse is, in any case, an act of inappropriate or frivolous treatment of another organism, system, or object. A severe 'lack of respect' comes to mind.

It occurs when excessive use, domineering behaviour or unwanted intentions can create a corrupt practice or practice that repeats itself with a clear intention to hurt someone.

It usually occurs without an expiration date but becomes more common over time. This article explores the complex nature of abuse of another human being. However, its complications do not make abuse a welcome human behaviour.

We will show you some real-life situations that will explain why abuse has become possible under the microscope. First, consider a husband whose wife has been discharged from the hospital after undergoing heart surgery to fix a valve.

She is at home, comforting. Her husband asks her a question, to which her blurred mind gives an answer that her husband cannot understand. He snaps! He starts screaming at her. In her anxious state, she feels indifferent to what she is saying.

He shouts at her, swears by pornography. "You're stupid! You're dumb! The doctors operated on the wrong organ. It's your brain that they should have opened!" She continues. Unrestrained, uncontrollable and remorseful ... a true story.

This form of oppression should have been repulsed, but it often happens when you least expect it. One technique you can add to your self-esteem toolbox is the art of asking questions. Instead of answering the abuser's irrational questions, try to answer their questions - with another question.

Let's listen to this husband again, but this time present him with a hindrance ... stop his blow. For example, "You're a fool! You're a fool! The doctors operated on the wrong organ. It's your brain that they should have opened." To which the wife could answer, "Why are you being so cruel? Do you think this is the right attitude for a husband who should raise his wife after coming out of the hospital?"

One reason why an abuser is empowered to continue their disrespectful behaviour is that the recipient may lose self-confidence, so there is a lack of perseverance. Silently answering one question with another, while living in a state of composed and controlled emotions can often weaken the bully.

It can rotate tables. Be careful here, be quiet when you use this technique, wait for their response. It doesn't matter how long it takes. Uncomfortable as it may seem, the first speaker loses. Remember to stay calm. be quite.

When you speak, make sure that you first fill your lungs with air to give your words more timbre, increase the character or quality of your voice. It makes you more 'sure' about yourself. Always breathe with the air filled with lungs. You don't have to speak right away. Stopping (when you breathe) can also be an effective needle for chewing a bully's balloon.
